House of Blues tenant improvement is a 40,000 sf multiple music venue and restaurant on the 3rd floor of Anaheim Gardenwalk. All construction at Gardenwalk is Type I-A Fire Resistance. The scope of work included architectural tenant improvement drawings and structural modification and upgrades of the existing foundation and framing to create an open music hall with mezzanine. The music venues, restaurant, and restrooms were built over a raised floor to provide sound attenuation and routing of plumbing work. Two new elevators and ramps provided equal accessibility within the entire space.

Construction was completed in March of 2017. Mour Group’s role included architecture, code analysis, structural engineering and professional of record. In addition to documenting these items, Mour Group was also the lead consultant to provide coordination to the collaboration team that included: Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical; Kitchen Equipment; Lighting and Sound; Interior Design.

Mour Group also participated in the bar design of the House of Blues Delta Room in San Diego. Services performed included architectural design, management of limited M/E/P engineering, and coordination for millwork lighting and bar equipment.
