Civita – Franklin Ridge Park; San Diego, CA

The project’s scope encompassed comprehensive structural and civil engineering services tailored for a captivating +/- 10,000 square foot park.

This vibrant outdoor space was designed to feature a barbecue/patio area, an artistic geology wall, low walls that enhanced both aesthetics and functionality, and a meticulously crafted concrete bench seat. Our structural engineering expertise went beyond the conventional, as we intricately marked up structural components on landscape drawings, ensuring a seamless integration of form and function.

Within the realm of civil engineering, our meticulous planning was evident in a detailed set of documents. Precise grading plans were developed to optimize the topography, while retaining wall plans were strategically crafted to harmonize with the natural surroundings. An erosion control plan ensured environmental sustainability, and an earthwork analysis paved the way for effective land use. Our onsite drainage analysis and accompanying drainage study report guaranteed a robust infrastructure that efficiently managed water flow.

The scope of work also included a water quality technical report, emphasizing our dedication to sustainable practices. The SWPPP Amendment reflected our proactive approach to stormwater management, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding the ecological integrity of the park.
